Park Street Roundabout

The A5183 Watling Street North Exit from the Park Street Roundabout remains closed full-time, day and night. The closure began on the 25th July 2026 and is for approximately four weeks.

Week commencing 3rd August 2026

Collaborative joint night time working continues. To enable these works the A414 Westbound from the London Colney Roundabout to the Park Street Roundabout will have night time closures on the 6th and 7th August 2026.

In addition there are planned night time closures of the South Side of Park Street Roundabout on the 8th and 9th August 2026. To accommodate this the night time closures will the A414 Westbound from the London Colney Roundabout to the Park Street Roundabout, the A405 North Orbital Road North and South between Tippendell Lane and Park Street Roundabout, Watling Street South access and egress to the Park Street Roundabout.

National Highways have advised they intend to carry out maintenance on the M1 South on weeknights. This may impact the A414 (M10) from the M1 to Park Street Roundabout.

Diversion routes are in place supported by appropriate signage across the network. Our contractor has deployed additional signage as we are aware some HGV drivers are ignoring the prescribed diversion routes. Whilst we have no control over driver actions it is hoped this measure will assist.
