There is a temporary footpath closure for 6 months commencing 20th April 2026 on part of the south side of the A414. We hope to reduce this period. The closure is to allow construction of the new path /cycleway. There is no room to allow construction and safe passage of users as with with earlier sections. A diversion is in place from the end of Mount drive via a footpath to rejoin the footpath on the south side of the A414
It has been brought to our attention that this has been mis- posted by others causing confusion re the underpass under the A414.
The underpass is not affected by these works
