Defibrillator arrives at How Wood Shops

Members of the community have been discussing the lack of a defibrillator in the How Wood Shops parade on social media for some time, particularly in the thriving Park Street People & Places, and contacted us through this site shortly after about it. The need was evident, but getting the planning, the funds, and the approval was an ongoing process, since the issue was first raised in 2020.

After much discussion, a few dead ends, and loads of planning, we’re happy to announce that a defibrillator has now been installed at How Wood parade of shops, with special thanks to Councillor Stella Nash and PSRA for donating said defibrillator and making it so!

The defibrillator is outside The Bok and Rose, at 22 How Wood. We hope you never have the need for it, but we can all breathe a bit easier with its presence, undoubtedly.

Here it is, outside The Bok and Rose at 22 How Wood!
