Chair Yoga (Day) (Park Street Village Hall)

Number wise this class is struggling. Continuing Council sponsoring does depend on the number of participants, do come along and give it a try. The hour long class costs £4.50 (Fridays 10.30-11.30am). Chair yoga is a general term for a session where yoga poses can be modified so that they can be done either seated or standing. Yoga becomes accessible to people not be able to stand for long, or have balance issues, or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to lying to seated. The use of chairs provides support when practicing the standing postures, which ensures a safe but challenging practice. Participants can still expect to enjoy the health benefits of yoga, such as stretching, improved muscle tone and balance and better breathing habits, etc.
