Park Street Remembrance Day Parade

St Stephen Parish Remembrance Day Parade and Service will be held in Park Street on Sunday 12 November 2017 to give members of the local community the opportunity to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, not only in the First and Second World Wars, but also in more recent conflicts.

The Service will start with a Parade of Standards by local youth organisations, led by Harpenden Pipe Band.

The parade will form up on Park Street, by the railway bridge south of the junction with Hawfield Gardens, at 2.15pm from where it will make its way along Park Street to the War Memorial.

Anyone wishing to take part in the parade should assemble in the Village Hall Car Park by 2.00pm.

During the service, which will begin at the Memorial at approximately 2.45pm, there will be the opportunity for individuals to lay a personal tribute.

The parade will march back to the Village Hall Car Park at the end of the service.

Please note that car parking in the vicinity is limited and there will be a road closure in place between Hawfield Gardens and Park Street Lane 2.15pm -4.00pm.
